Since 1990, we have used our performances to keep the art of opera alive. We strive to create affordable, highly professional operatic productions while providing a platform for young musicians and vocalists.
With Met Opera luminary, Lucine Amara, as our Artistic Director, we are able to bring lavish performances that rival the world’s best Opera houses – produced for a fraction of the cost and made affordably available to families, seniors and our younger generations. Each performance features vocalists from our master classes and competitions, allowing us to create an environment for young artists to truly flourish.
Through our generous sponsors, we are able to produce at least two performances a year, maintaing a high quality while continuing our educational programs.
Verismo Opera presented a highly professional performance with an attractive cast of young singers. All of the leads gave finely drawn and well-acted performances. – John Hammel
