    James Garvin resides in Englewood and is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Columbia University.  His previous performance experience was limited to playing with his college wind ensemble, but as an opera enthusiast, he welcomed the chance to join Verismo Opera in 2008, as a supernumerary.  He is excited to participate in the company’s productions.
